Helvetica History Lesson Tees

Too long, too long have people waited for the typographic t-shirt that isn't only fashionable - but educational, too. With a mind to resolve this problem for myself and the world, I took a screenprinting class with the brilliant and pragmatic guys at Danger Press, hosted by the Atlanta Printmakers Studio.

We weren't using the best equipment — basic table clamps, wooden frames, old emulsion — but thanks to the help of Ed and J, I produced a short line of Helvetica tees for sale at fairs around Atlanta and online.

Each tee (one serif, sans-serif, and slab-serif to suit all tastes) describes the history of the titular typeface so you can proudly represent your favorite font to the world. A Comic Sans / Papyrus line is forthcoming.
